The Copper Smokehouse

We have been going to The Cooper Smokehouse now for a good couple of years. Although yet to visit on any other day than Sunday, the food has always been great. We usually go for the roast dinner, plus a portion of cauliflower cheese and it’s a huge portion. Most of the time we end up taking some home in a take-away container. The staff are all kind, friendly and welcoming. Paula is always on the ball and good when needing help what beer to try See you soon. Matt and Laura.

This place is a favourite of ours, been coming here weekly for six months and tonight is our 33rd visit to this gem. The food is always incredible, the owners are brilliant people, the head chef (Mike) cooks the best meats around, Paula and her people skills and memory is a thing of brilliance. The staff are lovely and welcoming. If I had to choose a recommendation food wise, I’d say the Platter for 2 (but make sure you’re hungry) The short rib is without doubt the best rib I’ve ever eaten. I see myself old and grey still eating here. If you’re in the area, get yourself down to The Copper Smoke House.

We went there for the first time last night and can’t say enough good things about it. The food is amazing, we ordered the sharing platter for the of us and it could definitely feed four. The hightlights were definitely the treacle BBQ brisket and the smoked ribs. We will definitely be returning as sadly we didn’t have any room for dessert and it looks amazing. Huge added plus was you can get most of the menu made gluten free. We can’t recommend the Copper Smokehouse enough.

Just had the most amazing lunch with my partner. The staff were so friendly and very attentive. I am gluten free and was please to see there was a Gfo for bread. I ordered the chicken and maple cured bacon with cheese which comes with fries and salad. Oh wow it was incredible! The bread was homemade and the filling was very generous. The chips were cooked perfectly and the salad was tasty. You may have to wait a little for the food but everything is freshly cooked and 100% worth it. So good for just 8! We both decided to share the chocolate brownie dessert with salted caramel ice cream and it did not disappoint!! Very rich and indulgent. So nice my partner wanted to lick the plate. We will definitely be returning in the future! Thankyou for a great experience.

Found this place as it’s dog friendly. We have 2 large dogs, which might scare some away. The staff were really attentive both to us and the dogs. The meal was Awsome. Proper smokehouse ribs. Amazing portions and a great selection of drinks. Will definitely be back.

Wow, this is some of the best food and drink I have ever had. I had the homemade brisket sandwich and my partner had gnocchi both out of this world! I can't recommend this food enough! Just try it for yourself absolutely amazing! Also the staff are friendly and attentive. Again couldn't recommend this place enough!

We are here on a weekend break for my dad's birthday.... found this restaurant by chance... so glad we did. The staff were polite and welcomed our dog with treats, blanket and water bowl.... Menu was good with lots of choice. We all chose different... when it arrived the portions were large and the food tasted amazing. Would highly recommend this restaurant and if we go back to that area again we would definitely be eating there x x
